All Megaplex-2100 access multiplexer modules fit both Megaplex-2100 and Megaplex-2104 chassis.The Megaplex-2100 access multiplexer and Megaplex-2104 access multiplexer are flexible, modular multiplexers enabling integration of multiple voice, ISDN, video, data, and LAN services over multiple E1/T1, Ethernet uplinks, or nx64 links.The devices’ interfaces are compatible with RAD’s standalone ASMi-31, ASMi-52 and FCD modems and its main (network) links provide optional integrated CSU/DSU and LTU or fiber interface.The Megaplex-210x access multiplexer splits the user voice and data channels and redirects the traffic to separate trunks, maximizing efficiency by directly connecting each trunk to the appropriate service.The Megaplex-210x access multiplexer is especially suitable for use as an economical, compact remote distribution node. It is ideal for small to mid-size business entities, providing mixed services for both business and residential customers.
